CARROLL’s benefit year is July 1 through June 30 each year. If you make benefit elections after you join CARROLL, your benefits will be effective the first day of the month following your start date and will remain effective until the next open enrollment period in June.
The exception to this cycle involves the Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). We offer both Dependent Care and Medical Flexible Spending Accounts. The FSA plans operate on a calendar year. Open enrollment for those plans take place in late October to early November each year - look out for communication from the benefits team about how to enroll.
CARROLL is excited to announce our new paid parental leave policy that gives new parents a maximum of 6 weeks of paid parental leave per birth, adoption, or placement of a child/children.

You must wait 90 days before you can take PTO time. You then will need to have accrued the PTO hours and you must seek approval from your manager before taking PTO time. You will accrue 4 hours per pay period.

You can roll over up to 40 hours of PTO into the next year.
CARROLL observes 9 holidays each year. In addition to the other holidays listed below, we also provide each employee with a “birthday day off” that can be taken any time during the month of your birthday.

CARROLL offers Paid Time Off (PTO) which combines sick time and vacation time into one bucket.
Upon joining the company, employees earn 13 PTO days throughout the year. After 3 years of employment, you will earn another day of PTO. Additional days are offered for additional years of service.

How to use the app:
If you provide a voided check to us during your onboarding, your first check will be direct deposit. If you do not provide a voided check, the first check will be a live check mailed to your home address. Subsequent paychecks will be direct deposit if you choose the direct deposit option.
CARROLL assigns mentors to new properties and to new associates when they join CARROLL. We have training guides for each role to enable new associates to learn about the position when they join.
Additionally, CARROLL maintains an online training platform, CARROLL University. This platform contains online classes and a schedule of live in-person classes being offered. You will be given login credentials to access the platform when you onboard with CARROLL.
Three courses are required for all new employees and on an annual basis: Fair Housing, Drug Free Workplace, and Sexual Harassment. You will learn more about how and where to take those courses in your first few days with the company.
In general, you are encouraged and supported to pursue further education provided outside the CARROLL. We offer a tuition reimbursement program and monetarily support other external education opportunities. Our criteria for programming involves developing you, enriching your team and benefitting CARROLL.
CARROLL offers a 401K plan through Vanguard. There is no waiting period. As soon as you are set up in our payroll system, you can begin contributing upon starting with the company.
CARROLL will match 100% of your 401(k) contribution up to 3% of your base pay. In addition, CARROLL will match 50% of your contribution greater than 3% but less than or equal to 5% of your base pay.
